Announcement

MRS members should have received their WARC Newscaster by now, by e-mail. A MRS membership form was included with the e-mail. Everyone’s membership expires December 31, annually.

First, I would like to thank everyone who has already renewed their membership for 2015. For the rest of us, there are several convenient methods to renew. First, people can go to the MRS website (you are already here!), click on the Membership Application button, and fill out the form completely. Next, go to the Membership Rates box, click on it, and include the correct payment. (Regular member, RAC regular member, Family member, RAC Family member). Be sure to include your RAC membership number. Now, click on PayPal, and pay the correct amount.

The second method of renewing memberships is to track me or Dan VE4DRK at coffee at MacDonalds on Saturday mornings. Each of us has membership forms, and will be pleased to take your money and membership form..

The third way of renewing would be to print out the membership form on this website, fill it out completely, include your cheque, and mail to the Winnipeg Seniors, at the address on the form.

As a side note, brand new hams, just graduated from an amateur radio course, will receive their first year membership free.

Please e-mail Dan VE4DRK ve4drk@rac.ca, with any questions or concerns

The Manitoba Repeater Society Inc. (MRS) is a non-profit organization. Its objective is to promote amateur radio through FM communications on VHF and UHF frequencies.

MRS maintains an extensive linking repeater system throughout Southern Manitoba. The system covers from Neepawa in the west to Milner Ridge in the east and Gimli in the north to Morris in the south. By offering mutual linking arrangements to other systems such as Brandon Amateur Radio Club(BARC) , the Triple S Group (VE4SSS) and the Lake of the Woods Amateur Radio Society's Pine Tree system, our range is extended from Brandon in the west to Dryden Ontario in the east and further, northwest to Russell then north to The Pas, as well as into the Interlake Region.
